About Me

Hi, I am Shagun Sodhani. I graduated in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee in 2015 and currently am working as a developer for Adobe Analytics. Software development takes most of my time though I regularly attend tech-talks and meetups around the city. I love Computer Science in general and Machine Learning in particular. I am also in interested in Maths and Economics. I always look forward to meet interesting people and learn new stuff, both in-person and remotely. If you want to talk, feel free to drop me a line.

Character-Level Language Model

TensorFlow based implementation of Char-RNN using Multi-layer Recurrent Neural Networks.

Spatial Co-location Pattern Mining using Graph Database

Developed and implemented scalable algorithms for mining spatial co-location patterns using distributed graph database as part of the final year thesis.

Stack Exchange Data as Spark Dataframes

Implemented a system that loads Stack Exchange Data as Spark Dataframes and performs analysis over the data.

Tagging StackExchange Questions using SVC

Implemented a tagger for questions posted on Stack Exchange using Support Vector Classification as course project for Artificial Neural Networks, IIT Roorkee

Work Experience

Member of Technical Staff - Adobe Systems (June, 2015 - Present)

I am working with the Analytics and Data Science team at Adobe Systems, India. I recently won the Outstanding Young Engineers Award at Adobe Systems. The award recognises young engineers displaying outstanding technical acumen and innovation.

Teaching Assistant - Databricks, edX (June, 2016 - September, 2016)

I worked as a teaching assistant for the 3-course series focusing on Data Science and Engineering with Spark XSeries, created in partnership with professors from University of California, Berkeley, University of California, Los Angeles and Databricks and offered on the edX platform.

Research Intern - Adobe Systems (May, 2014 - July 2014)

I worked as a research intern with the BigData Experience Lab and worked in the domain of Instore User Experience Enhancement to improve foot-fall in brick and mortar stores.
